He disrespected the rules and the official by at first trying to refuse to accept the free throws awarded to his team and then asking the senior captain to miss them.In addition, this was an opportunity to beat the big city team and he just let the opportunity pass him. Coach Rohland clearly does not have the drive to aim for winning and not settle for anything less. He placed education and character development before wins by allowing Franklin to play, even though it meant their opponents being awarded free throws. In addition, he allowed Franklin to fill his â€Å"emotional tanks† to improve performance and instill a love of the sport.
